Borreliosis (Lyme Disease)
Borreliosis, also called Lyme disease, is an umbrella term for various infectious diseases caused by bacteria and in most cases transmitted by ticks, rarely also by mosquitoes or horseflies. In many cases, but not always, a ring-shaped redness appears around the bite site a few days or weeks after the bite – the migrating redness known as erythema migrans. The patient suffers from general tiredness, fatigue, headaches, fever and inflammation, redness and swelling of the joints, similar to the symptoms of flu. In addition, neck stiffness and muscle pain may occur, as well as migrating joint pain in various places and tingling, numbness and abnormal sensations. Complications include inflammation of the nerves and the central nervous system, up to meningitis and paralysis, especially in the face, as well as inflammation of the heart muscle with cardiac arrhythmias and chronic inflammation of the joints. Patients also often gradually develop psychological symptoms of depression, sometimes alternating with aggression. A laboratory test often does not yield a reliable result, as usually not all antibodies are tested.

The focus is on the responsiveness of the organism as well as the internal milieu and the intestinal flora.
In colon hydrotherapy, the large intestine is rinsed with water. We combine colon hydrotherapy with subsequent administration of probiotics. Since 70-80% of our immune system is located in the gut, it plays a central role in our immune defense and our ability to respond to bacteria and viruses. In addition, various infusions are used – with a view to the balance in the body, which is often unable to respond appropriately to various demands due to excessive use of medication, poor diet and the resulting acidosis and deficiencies. We also work with herbal remedies and orthomolecular biology, nutritional counseling and dietary recommendations. We also accompany you with psychotherapeutic support.
