Infusion therapy – how it is applied
Since infusions are administered directly into the bloodstream (thus bypassing the bowel), they can be dosed well. Among other things, we use infusions as a complement during chemotherapy or radiation therapy – always in consultation with the treating physician. Infusion therapy is also requested for many other complaints and increasingly without specific complaints.
How does infusion therapy work?
Biological infusion therapy combines orthomolecular medicine (micronutrient medicine), phytotherapy (herbal medicine), and homeopathy. It therefore uses vitamins, minerals, amino acids, medicinal plants, and homeopathic remedies. Through infusions, these enter the bloodstream directly, bypassing the gastrointestinal tract. This means that active substances can also be administered in high doses.
Active substances in infusion therapy
The active substances administered in infusion therapy depend on the respective complaints and symptoms. In our practice, we use infusions with B vitamins, minerals, high-dose vitamin C, or special amino acid compositions, among others:
Trace elements (e.g., selenium)
Minerals (e.g., potassium and magnesium)
Homeopathic preparations
Amino acids as vital protein building blocks
Antioxidants
Infusion therapy and energy metabolism
Cellsymbiosistherapie © according to Dr. med. Kremer states that a disturbed energy metabolism can cause, for example, hormonal disorders, mental illness, burnout, and a weakened immune system. This disturbance is based on a weakening of the mitochondria, which no longer produce sufficient adenosine triphosphate, ATP for short. ATP is the universal energy carrier of our cells and is essential for energy-supplying processes.
Scope and duration of infusion therapy
The number of infusions depends on the complaints present. Of course, they are part of an individually developed treatment. It is also part of our holistic therapy concept. Usually, 6 – 10 treatments are carried out in the course of an infusion therapy. If required, the therapy can also take place at your home (see home visits).
Important note:The treatment method described here lacks recognition by conventional medicine. There is no scientific evidence of its effects according to the recognized rules and principles of scientific research. Described consequences of a treatment are based exclusively on experience. Their course also always depends on individual factors of the patient. A specific effect can therefore not be guaranteed.
