Naturopathic Support During Radiotherapy

Naturopathy Berlin: naturopathic support during chemotherapy

Support during radiotherapy in Berlin

The service described here is naturopathic support during chemotherapy / radiotherapy. It does not relate to the treatment of cancer; this is exclusively in the hands of physicians.

Many cancer patients also receive naturopathic treatment during their chemotherapy. Naturopathic support does not replace conventional medical treatment and should always be coordinated with the treating physicians.

Diagnosis and therapy plan

At the beginning, a detailed initial case history is taken. This covers your medical history and relevant biographical connections. We also talk about the course of the chemotherapy so far. Based on the initial case history, a kinesiological muscle test and, if necessary, other diagnostics (blood, urine, stool, etc.), an individual therapy plan is drawn up. The therapy plan includes naturopathic treatment with the remedies selected on the basis of the initial case history. The support is complemented by a healthy, micronutrient-rich nutrition concept and naturopathic detoxification concepts.

Emotional support

In our many years of experience, it is particularly important to also provide intensive emotional support to those affected. For many of those affected, the period of chemotherapy is a great burden, and the path of suffering often begins much earlier. Engaging with emotional burdens can be part of the support during this crisis. Our treatment therefore always involves all levels of the person.

In holistic approaches, psychological burdens are also considered alongside genetic components and environmental stress. Naturopathic concepts also deal with exposure to environmental toxins. To relieve the emotional burden on patients undergoing chemotherapy, we use psychological methods, systemic work and biographical work. It is particularly important to us to create an atmosphere in which our patients feel comfortable and safe. Working on psychological burdens is also about becoming aware of your own resources.

Healthy nutrition and chemotherapy

It is now undisputed that there are connections between nutrition and chronic diseases. Even the Federal Ministry of Education and Research funds nutrition research in order, among other things, to reduce diet-related diseases and their consequences. Nutrition is one factor that patients have in their own hands to accompany chemotherapy. We support our patients in changing their diet. We provide information and give them practical tips.
