Vitamin Deficiency

By Yesha KarmeliPublished Updated

Infusions and restorative courses for vitamin deficiency

Physical weakness, fatigue, weakened defenses or susceptibility to infections can have various causes that should be clarified by a physician; one possible cause is an amino acid, mineral or vitamin deficiency.

In addition to pure vitamin infusions, we offer the following situation-specific courses:

  • Vitalization course – for physical performance pressure
  • Brain and nerve course – for stress, tension and exam situations
  • Cell refresh course – in crisis situations and with exhaustion
  • Immune stimulation course – focus: immune system
  • Detox and cleansing course – focus: detoxification and metabolism.

High-dose vitamin C infusions

Vitamin C is a vital vitamin that the body cannot produce itself. It therefore has to be supplied from outside. The body needs vitamin C to neutralize free radicals. It is also important for the immune defense and blood formation. It contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones and skin. The need for vitamin C increases with many illnesses. In a high-dose vitamin C infusion, vitamin C is given directly into the bloodstream. Whether an infusion is an option is discussed individually; acute infections and vascular diseases require medical treatment.

Vitamin B3 | niacin

Niacin, also known as nicotinic acid, nicotinamide or vitamin B3, is considered an important part of energy metabolism because it supports the body in converting food into glucose. The vitamin is therefore important wherever there is high metabolic activity, i.e. in the muscles, nerves, immune system and skin. Niacin is also involved in the metabolism of blood sugar and blood lipids. In one study, the intake of nicotinamide was examined in connection with non-melanoma skin tumors and actinic keratoses (see quote below); skin changes require medical treatment.

Niacin is important for the regeneration of DNA & cell metabolism

Research is investigating niacin in connection with the skin. The background is that niacin, or nicotinamide, is a building block of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, which in turn is essential for the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP is needed for cell regeneration and the activation of cell metabolism. A deficiency can, among other things, lead to premature aging of the skin. Studies have shown that an ATP deficiency in the skin can occur particularly under exposure to UV light, which in turn prevents the repair of DNA damage. Niacin contributes to normal energy metabolism and to the maintenance of normal skin.
