What is a liver-gallbladder cleanse?
The human body is a complex interplay of different organs and processes. The liver plays a central role in metabolism and is involved in numerous bodily processes. With a very high blood flow, it is exposed to a wide range of demands every day.
Over the course of life, various burdens can arise that influence how you feel in your body. Many people therefore look into ways of supporting the liver as part of a conscious lifestyle and holistic self-care. Figuratively speaking, the liver is often compared to a filter system that works continuously and never comes to a complete rest.
In the naturopathic understanding, it is assumed that conscious support and relief in everyday life can contribute to positively influencing your own well-being. The aim of such services is to support the body in its self-regulation and to provide impulses for more lightness and balance.

Procedure of the liver-gallbladder cleanse
The liver-gallbladder cleanse comprises a time-limited, structured procedure over four days. It includes freshly pressed juices and selected herbal teas.
On the first two days there is a juice phase, each of which can be combined with a colon hydrotherapy session at the practice. On the third day, a traditional olive oil drink is planned, accompanied by an externally applied castor oil liver compress. On the fourth day, a further colon hydrotherapy session can take place.
The fresh juices and teas are prepared daily and can be taken home for a maximum of two days. If personal pickup is not possible, a courier service can be arranged on request.
Traditional applications and cultural background
In various cultures, there have long been traditional applications in which plant oils and herbs are used as part of conscious ways of living and eating. Olive oil and castor oil are traditionally valued and are used both in folk medicine and in holistically oriented systems.
Native olive oil is often regarded as part of a balanced diet. In traditional contexts, castor oil is used, among other things, to accompany regulatory bodily processes. These applications are based on traditional experience and serve as supportive accompaniment of personal well-being.
The liver – a versatile organ
The liver is one of the most efficient organs of the human body and is involved in a large number of metabolic processes. It has a high capacity for regeneration and fulfills numerous tasks that are important for the organism. From a holistic point of view, it is therefore often regarded as a central organ when it comes to balance and regulation.
Naturopathically oriented support services relating to liver and gallbladder function are not intended as medical treatment, but as supportive measures within a health-conscious lifestyle. The focus is on individual support, for example in connection with fasting periods or phases of conscious nutrition.
These services are not intended to heal or treat diseases and do not replace medical diagnostics or therapy. They are aimed at people who want to actively engage with their bodies and mindfully accompany their personal well-being.
