Non-Surgical Removal of Moles and Liver Spots with a Herbal Tincture

How Are Moles / Liver Spots Removed?

Basically, these skin lesions are mostly new growths and proliferations on the surface of the skin. Warts develop on the skin as a result of viral infections. The bothersome skin lesions are usually removed by surgical procedures or freezing. By applying a special herbal tincture, the blood supply to the growth is meant to be sclerosed. The skin lesion then becomes keratinized and separates from the surface of the skin. Once this has happened, the organism closes the resulting wound with unblemished, smooth skin.By the way: The process generally takes 1-3 weeks. Several skin lesions can be treated in one session. What this method is about:

  1. Before each application, the skin lesion is examined; conspicuous liver spots require evaluation by a dermatologist
  2. Application of a herbal tincture
  3. No stitches, no heat or cold, no incision, no anesthetic
  4. a slight burning sensation may occur for a few minutes during application

Skin lesions for which the method is used (after prior evaluation):

  • Warts: seborrheic warts,  juvenile warts, flat warts, molluscum contagiosum, filiform warts, plantar warts
  • Moles, liver spots
  • Nevi: junctional nevus, pigmented nevus, giant hairy nevus, blue nevus (naevus coeruleus)
  • Skin tags

Costs: From €40 per growth or blemish, depending on its size, location, and complexity. We also treat skin conditions such as cosmetically bothersome spots and pigmentation disorders.

Removing skin lesions with a herbal tincture is a naturopathic procedure and does not replace an examination by a dermatologist.

Before the application for the removal of moles / liver spots

  1. Please relax. A slight burning sensation may occur for a few minutes during application.
  2. Show your skin lesions to naturopathic practitioner (Heilpraktiker) Yesha Karmeli. In a short anamnesis, the blemishes are examined for type, size, and urgency. In the case of conspicuous or unclear skin changes, you will be referred to a dermatologist.
  3. After the examination, an individual cost estimate is prepared for the removal of the skin lesions. 20% of the removal costs are charged as consultation fees.
  4. Once you decide on a removal, the tincture is applied to the skin lesion. Please hold still for a moment. The slight burning sensation, similar to a mosquito bite, will last for a few minutes.

After the application

The first 24 hours: Please keep the treated area dry (no shower)! The treated area will shrink and change color within the first 2 - 3 hours. It usually becomes paler with a reddish halo (hyperemic reaction). According to the concept of the method, the blood supply to the area is meant to be cut off. After 24 hours you may shower. The scab should not absorb water until it falls off (no prolonged baths); a narrow red border around the treated area is normal and desired. After 3 - 5 days: A hard scab forms on the treated area. Do not rub or scratch it (after showering, gently pat it dry). If you pull off the scab too early, a new scab will form and healing will be delayed. If it itches, please cool the area while keeping it dry (e.g., with ice in a plastic bag).

Depending on the individual case, it may be necessary to repeat the treatment.

Third: After 14 - 21 days: the scab falls off and smooth new skin becomes visible. Any redness or discoloration improves over time. Unfortunately, it is not possible to say directly how deep skin lesions go. The course varies from person to person.

If a skin reaction occurs after the treatment that worries you, please contact our practice immediately.
