Check-Up FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the goal of this check-up / program?

The aim is to look at your current situation holistically and to classify connections. This results in a structured orientation for individually suitable, holistically oriented support – without any statements about medical treatment or prevention.

Which areas are looked at?

As part of our holistically oriented work, various areas are classified and considered in context. The aim is to better understand different levels of your personal experience and lifestyle.

These include, among others:

  • the autonomic nervous system as well as your individual way of dealing with stress and strain

  • the energy balance and functional connections at the cellular level

  • Diet and nutrient aspects as well as metabolism-related questions

  • the classification of the body's own protective and balancing processes

  • Bowel, sleep, and hormone-related topics in a holistic context

  • mental-emotional and biographical influencesthat can shape personal well-being

Looking at these areas serves orientation and structuring and does not replace medical diagnosis or therapy.

How does the process work in practice?

The process is clearly structured and based on your individual question and the chosen service.

As a rule, it includes the following steps:

  1. a short or detailed medical history, depending on the package

  2. if needed, accompanying laboratory analyses (e.g., blood, saliva, urine, or stool) for classification purposes

  3. a personal discussion and clear classification of the available results

  4. the creation of an individual support and orientation plan with comprehensible priorities

  5. a personal support over the agreed period, during which impressions are reflected upon and adjusted as needed

Will my lab results be explained to me?

Yes. The available laboratory results are discussed clearly and calmly. It is not just about numbers, but about a classifying explanation of the connections within a holistically oriented assessment.

You receive comprehensible explanations and orienting informationthat can help you better understand your results and place them in the context of your personal situation.

The discussion does not replace medical diagnosis or therapy.

Does this make sense even if I have no diagnosis?

Yes. Many people are interested in holistically oriented services, even without an existing medical diagnosis. The focus is not on medical prevention or avoiding disease, but on a conscious engagement with lifestyle, perceived stress, and self-care.

Terms such as prevention and longevity are not understood in the medical sense here, but as an expression of a mindful, reflective approach to one's own body and to aging. The aim is to better classify connections, clarify personal priorities, and gain orientation for a conscious lifestyle.

Do I have to take supplements?

No. Taking dietary supplements is not a prerequisite. Whether and to what extent such products are discussed depends on your individual situation and question.

As part of holistic support, dietary supplements can be discussed for classification purposes if this seems useful. These are orienting suggestions, not medical recommendations or mandatory requirements. The decision to take them always rests with you.

What is the time frame of the support?

This varies greatly from person to person. Some people report that after a certain time they already notice subjective changes in everyday life – others need considerably longer or experience developments more gradually.

Holistically oriented support may involve topics such as energy balance, sleep, concentration or dealing with stress . However, whether, when, and in what form changes occur cannot be predicted and cannot be promised.

We support you in a structured way, step by step – in a setting that takes your personal situation into account.

How does this concept differ from conventional check-ups?

Unlike classic check-ups, the focus here is not on standardized procedures, but on a holistically oriented classification of your personal situation.

In addition to a detailed medical history, – depending on the question – accompanying laboratory analyses may be used. We also include functionally oriented perspectives, an understanding of connections in the nervous system, and personal, continuous support in the classification.

The concept is deliberately individually oriented, without claiming to provide medical diagnostics, therapy, or standardized preventive examinations.
