Aromatherapy at Natura Heilpraxis

Essential oils, herbal and flower essences have been used in many cultures for thousands of years. In our practice, we offer you the opportunity to get to know aromatherapy as a holistic form of support. In naturopathy, essential oils are described in connection with physical, mental and emotional well-being, for example in the context of relaxation.

Applications and safety

Essential oils can be used in an extraordinarily wide range of ways: internally, externally or via the sense of smell. We attach great importance to safe handling. Please note that essential oils are highly concentrated and should usually only be used diluted. They can irritate the eyes and mucous membranes; please store them protected from light, in a cool place and out of the reach of children.

Our aromatherapy services

At Natura Heilpraxis, we offer you a comprehensive range of aromatherapy services:

  • Initial aroma consultation: we analyze your needs in detail and draw up an individual aromatherapy plan.

  • Aroma coaching: accompanying coaching for more in-depth aromatherapy.

  • Aroma massage: massages with essential oils as part of our relaxation offerings.

  • Colon hydrolate therapy: herbal enemas with hydrolates (plant waters) following a colon rinse.

  • Individual two-week programs: on topics such as inflammatory diseases (alongside medical treatment) or detox, we offer special support programs. (Book the initial aroma consultation to start this program.)

  • Integration into longer programs: in our 3- and 4-week programs, we integrate aroma massages, aroma meditations and individual inhaler sticks for an intensive therapy experience.

  • Oil dispersion baths: advice and equipment for special baths with dispersed essential oils.

  • Aromatograms: on request, we prepare aromatograms for the targeted selection of essential oils.

  • Cooperation with specialized pharmacies: in cooperation with them, we have individual capsules, suppositories, ointments and more prepared.

If you would like to get to know the many possibilities of aromatherapy, please feel free to make an appointment for a detailed initial consultation. Let us find a path to your well-being together – gentle, natural and individually tailored.

The oil dispersion bath

In naturopathy, the oil dispersion bath is used as an accompanying measure for a wide range of complaints.

Using a dispersion device, oils (a carrier oil with a few drops of essential oil) are finely swirled with water so that tiny droplets mix with the water. Thanks to this fine distribution, the oils come into contact with the skin over a large area.

The aromatogram

In an aromatogram, the laboratory determines how germs detected in a sample react to various essential oils. The result is a laboratory finding and not a statement about any effect in the body; infections belong in medical hands.

We offer the following tests:

  • Vaginal flora status incl. aromatogram

  • Urine incl. aromatogram

  • Throat/nasal swab incl. aromatogram

  • Wound swabs

Colon hydrolate treatment with plant waters

The colon hydrolate treatment combines a colon rinse with the administration of a hydrolate (plant water) that is selected individually. After rinsing with water, the hydrolate is introduced into the large intestine. Before each treatment, there is a short consultation with our clinical aromatherapist to select the right hydrolate.

Aromatherapy in practice

Aromatherapy is a naturopathic method that can be used as a complement to conventional treatment. Common topics in consultations are stress, sleep and skin. In an aroma consultation or a personal 1:1 appointment with clinical aromatherapist Julia Falkenstein, we work together to find the right blend and application for your individual needs.
